Special Services for flights from Dili to Singapore

Expectant Mothers

Expectant mothers in good health may be accepted for travel subject to the following conditions:

For Normal Pregnancy ;

• Expectant mothers in good health up to the 35th week of pregnancy may be accepted. After 36 weeks of pregnancy, passengers cannot be accepted

For Known Cases of multiple pregnancy (twins, triplets in the pregnancy)

• Expectant mothers will multiple pregnancy up to 32nd week of pregnancy may be accepted. After 32 weeks of pregnancy, passenger cannot be accepted

Conditions of acceptance:

At any stage of pregnancy, passengers should hold a certificate of fitness for air travel from the attending gynaecologist.
This certificate should state that the expectant mother is fit to travel and indicated the estimated date of delivery.

More than 1 month between booking and departure dates: a new certificate should be issued (by the attending gynaecologist) not more than 3 days before departure.

Request of supplementary oxygen for expectant mothers: if a passenger makes a request for supplementary oxygen on board the flight, Air Timor must be notified in advance. However, applicable charges apply.

Consult your Doctor
It is the passengers responsibility to consult her doctor before undertaking a flight. Medical guidance must be obtained before making a reservation and informing the doctor of the proposed itinerary. The number of weeks she is pregnant at the time the doctor signs the certificate of her fitness for air travel must be clearly stated in the certificate. The Estimated Date of Delivery should also be indicated in the medical certificate.
The medical certificate should be presented at check-in if requested.

Emergency Exit Row
Expectant mothers cannot be assigned or seated at the Emergency Exit Rows.

INFANTS

No seats will be allocated on the aircraft for infants aged 0 months – 24 months inclusive. Infants’ fares will be applicable. Each infant must be accompanied by an adult passenger who is at least 18 years of age. Meals and bassinets for infants are available on request only. Please consult your travel planner as request for these special services must be submitted in advance.

WHEELCHAIR ASSISTANCE

Passengers requiring a wheelchair may request assistance, including wheelchair transport where appropriate, during embarkation and disembarkation.
Wheelchair must be requested at least 48 hours prior to departure time. Due to limited infrastructure in Timor-Leste  Dili Airport, passengers who are immobile (unable to climb up and down passenger step on their own) are recommended to consult with Air Timor or your travel planner prior to departure for more details.

PASSENGERS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

For those passengers requiring special assistance, for example, elderly passengers, Unaccompanied Minor (UM), Young Passenger (YP), you may wish to contact us for more details.

Charges will be applicable where special assistance is required at SGD 45.00 / USD 35.00 payable to Air Timor at time of check-in.

FIT TO FLY – MEDICAL CLEARANCE

Passengers with serious physical or mental illness / including some disabilities / and especially those requiring Oxygen and / or Stretchers will require medical clearance by an appointed MI/SQ Doctor before flight departure. If you fall into this category its VITAL you have this clearance prior to travel and any reservations being made. Breach of this may lead to “refusal to uplift”.

PASSENGERS CARRYING FIREARMS

Passengers intending to carry firearms to and from Singapore should contact Air Timor at least 10 days in advance prior to departure for documentation purposes.
Charges of SGD 250.00 / US$ 200.00 including CAAS permit of firearms carriage are required and payable to Air Timor at time of check-in.
